Most parts we supply are OEM Ferrari and carry on the same warranty as Ferrari.

All new and reconditioned parts are covered by a 12 months manufacturer’s warranty unless specifically stated. You should notify T.Rutlands immediately by e-mail or by phone if a potential warranty situation arises. We will then advise you of a course of action.

Our guarantee applies only where purchased goods have been used solely for the intended purpose and have not been used in any form of motorsport i.e. racing, rallying, or speed trials.

Note: Brand cross fitting of parts invalidate any warranty claim. I.e. fitting a Ferrari part to a Maserati or vice versa.

To claim the warranty you have to arrange to present the vehicle with the faulty part fitted at your nearest dealer with proof of purchase. The dealer will open a service entry and establish if the fault is warrantable if so they should replace the part FOC, and cover the cost of diagnosis time and labor to fit the part.

Note: This is the only way warranty can be claimed on the current factory supplied Ferrari and Maserati parts.

After you are in contact with us with the issue, you will be sent an RMA which you will be required to complete and send back to us along with the suspected faulty part(s) together with the original invoice or proof of purchase and as much information relating to the problem as possible.

All returns are subject to physical inspection. This may involve returning the part to our supplier to verify the fault before it can be repaired or exchanged. Defective items are backed 100% and can be returned for exchange only where the replacement part is available.

Warranty only covers the parts in question and not to any consequential loss or cost, e.g. garage labor, recovery, car hire, re-delivery, parking fines, failure of a related component, etc. No claim will be validated if the failure is caused by misuse, neglect, overheating, incorrect installation or failure of a related component.

The warranty period commences from our invoice date not from the date of installation or first use. This warranty covers defects to the part when fitted and used correctly for normal, everyday vehicle use but does not apply to parts used for any extraordinary or unusual uses such as competition, racing, rallying or parts subsequently stripped down, altered, modified or adapted etc. in any way from their original design or intended use.

If after testing the returned part is found to have no defect, the customer will be responsible for testing and return freight charges.

Some components require special equipment/ tools and special skills to ensure their successful and safe installation. These should not be fitted unless the correct tools and equipment are available and the necessary level of training has been attended. (e.g.) structural body parts must only be fitted when the vehicle is mounted on the recommended jig system using recommended brackets. When considering a warranty claim we may require you to provide evidence of relevant and current staff manufacturer training and correct tooling being used. If this cannot be produced your claim may not be considered.

Any part replaced or repaired under warranty, will only benefit from the balance of the cover remaining from the original purchase date. Warranties are not transferable.

Note: Proof that the correct fitment procedure by manufacturer trained staff and correct specialist tooling has been used may be required.

Any other brands or parts that are not Ferrari may fall under a different warranty period I.e. Borrani, Cicognani Classiche, etc. Any information or questions can be discussed with a T.Rutlands employee.
