The Ferrari 550 Maranello is a front-engine V12 grand touring sports car manufactured by Ferrari from 1996 to 2001. Featuring a 6-speed manual transmission, a tubular steel space frame, and double wishbone suspension, the 550 Maranello was the successor to the Ferrari Testarossa.
Powered by a 5.5 Liter 12-cylinder engine capable of producing 478 horsepower and 419 foot pounds of torque, the 550 had a top speed of 199 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.
Prior to being replaced by the Ferrari 575M Maranello, 3,083 of the 550 Maranello were produced.
