Modeled after the Ferrari 348, the Ferrari 348 Challenge debuted in the 1993 Ferrari Challenge Series racing circuit. The first variation was very similar to the 1993 road going GT with the only noticeable changes being new tires, enhanced brake pads, new body kit, roll bar, smaller battery and the addition of seat belts.

Featuring a 3.4 liter V8 engine, the Ferrari 348 Challenge was capable of a maximum power output of 316 horsepower at 7,200 RPM and 238 lb ft of torque. The 5 speed manual transmission allowed the 348 Challenge to accelerate from 0 to 62 MPH in 5.4 seconds.

The Ferrari f348 Challenge was Replaced by the Ferrari F355 in 1995.
