Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show, the Ferrari F150, or Ferrari LaFerrari, is a limited-production hybrid sports car and the final mid-mounted V12 engine model produced by Ferrari.
The LaFerrari provides the highest power output of any road car produced by Ferrari. With the electric motor producing 789 horsepower and 516 foot pounds of torque, what may be even more impressive is that the gas consumption was decreased by nearly 40 percent. Furthermore, with the support of the HY KERS system, or KERS, the engine is capable of producing 950 horsepower and 664 foot pounds of torque. Equipped with a 7-speed dual clutch manual transmission, the top speed for the Laferrari exceeds 220 mph.
Only 499 units were manufactured from 2013 through 2018 with a price tag of more $1 million U.S. dollars. Starting in 2016, production began on the open-topped version of the Ferrari F150, the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. Prior to the Laferrari, another limited production car from Ferrari, the Ferrari Enzo, was manufactured beginning in 2002.
